PDF Printer for iPhone App Reviews

I looked for a PDF printer for iOS till found that there are no such apps at all. The most close that I found is this app. Works pretty much the same in Safari via special extension to get a PDF article from a web page.

I love this app! I love being able to convert things to a PDF for handy safekeeping to another app like iBooks and Box/Dropbox. Also I love using the app to create the PDF then sending it to Adobe Reader i.e. when I need to complete a form. Ive had no problems using this. Very reliable. Update November 2014: I absolutely love the new share option from Safari to PDF Printer. After a couple of updates it is finally working smoothly.

I bought this app to save my boarding pass to pdf so I could forward it to a family member to print out, but the saved pdf was blank.

Now has a huge icon for Google-something on its home screen. Since I obviously dont want my personal scans posted and sold on the internet by Google, and I dont know what kind of access this app now gives that company,I have to dump this thing. This is in addition of many "converted" PDFs ending up blank, like the other reviewer noted. Looks like this developer has too many customers...

I downloaded this to assist in my file sharing from efax to email. Works great.

I bought this app and found it very unwieldy. My main purpose was to save my emails in PDF format. I did not find it this program has the technical ability to save my emails in the way in which they look when they appear originally in my email system. The emails look distorted, and have no value to me.

There are one or two things in this app that are not obvious. However, the instructions are step by step and in the exactly right place to be helpful. I use this to capture email receipts for my expense report app. Im finally timely in my reporting because Im not waiting until I have my laptop up or print something, etc. This is really a great app for me!

Hey apple, learn from this....

I too use this app all the time. If the dev(s) would fix the blank page creation when using the clipboard function & spend a bit more "focus" on the scanner app it would be a five star. Its nearly impossible to hold the iPhone still enough for the app to snap the photo. Also the auto page edge detection is terrible and the grab bars could be greatly improved. However, if you are just looking for an app to convert things into PDF then this one will do the trick.

A little confusing at first due to my not reading the instructions. Once I knew how to use it, I was very pleased.

I like the new save to pdf plugin for safari. It lets you save webpages to the app. However, the plugin only works in full size webpages (not mobile versions). Also, the plugin only works in safari (not Chrome, havent tested other browsers). Other than these issues, it does work as advertised. And, this is a good way of saving PDFs.

Wish they can add annotation

I use it to copy documents that I need to look at later or things I need to do like a list… If I need to have a permanent PDF file then I creat it and then Ill edit it with another program on my computer…for example if I get a blank page and I just deleted on my computer… I use this program with my iPhone… Also if Im in an office and I see a magazine with an article I like well guess what, I create a PDF file out of it take it home and either print it out or save it on my computer…

I dislike that this app delivers a string of advertisement which come in as iOS notifications. Your recurring advertisements are not emergent events that need my immediate attention. It is annoying enough that I will uninstall the app if your spamming practice continues.

I have had this app for quite a while, but only recently started using it. It has many functions, but I primarily use it to convert all sorts of files to PDF so I can organize them together on my favorite PDF reader app. This might sound like a small thing, but I have an enormous amount of reading material: forms, guidelines, manuals, PowerPoint presentations, journal articles etc. both at work and school. Being able to make just about anything into a PDF and file it away makes my life much easier and saves me tons of printer ink (not to mention time!). This is one of my "cant live without it" apps, for sure.

Cannot figure out how to use this app. It is incomprehensible.

Just what I needed

Bought this since it claims you can save web pages as pdf. Technically this might be true, but you have to do it through their internal browser. It cannot be done via Safari or Chrome. Be forewarned! Id get my money back if I could.

I can easy make all of the PDFs that I need.
